Oh, let me tell you about the magic that unfolded on this very cool night! The shadows and reflections of colours in the water became this clear, shiny spectacle that's nothing short of spectacular. I mean, check out that sky – it's like a masterpiece in the making!
This a clear example of how colours can magically change with the temperature.
I was looking for the perfect perspective, and voila, the lamp posts were my guiding star. Their light also makes beautiful reflections on the water forming a parallel line. So many elements make this image very interesting to look at.
Now, let's talk paper. I'm over the moon about my choice – this hemp natural paper is great. It absorbed the ink in such a unique way; I don't think chemically treated paper could pull off these deep, rich colours. It's like my photos are on canvas, not just paper. Love it!
But, OMG, the printing process was an adventure. Picture me, in gloves at 2 am, guiding the paper with my stomach close – and then, the revelation. My paper had a serious drinking expensive problem! It soaked up that ink like there was no tomorrow. I went to work the next morning, slightly sleep-deprived with puffy eyes (from crying), and I couldn't help but get all emotional talking to my colleague. "My pictures look amazing," I told her, "but they drinking like no tomorrow!"
